This is an information site only. There is no contact form, no sign-up, no analytics or advertising cookies and no tracking. Your chosen language is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and is never sent to us.

When you open the site, our hosting provider processes technically necessary data such as IP address, date and time, the page requested and browser type. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating the site securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The site loads typefaces from Google Fonts, which transmits your IP address to Google. If you would rather avoid that, the fonts can be served locally instead — just ask.

If you call or email us, we process what you tell us in order to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and delete it once it is no longer needed.

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Write to office@myoptik.wien. You may also complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at).
